Compatibility and setup
Full smart features require the DayBetter app and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Basic touch controls work without Wi-Fi. Connect the supplied USB cable to a certified 5V/2A USB power adaptor; the adaptor is not included.

Sunrise and sunset routines are configured in the DayBetter app and require 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Aura is a light, not an alarm clock; it has no alarm sound.

Does the Aetheo Aura lamp work with 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
Aura uses a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for its connected features. It does not connect directly to a 5 GHz-only network.
Can I use the Aura lamp without the app?
Yes. You can use the touch control for quick changes. The DayBetter app is needed to configure full scenes, schedules and voice assistant integration.
Can the Aura lamp be used as a sunrise light?
Yes. Create a sunrise scene with timed steps in the DayBetter app to brighten the lamp gradually. Aura does not have a clock or an alarm sound.
Can Aura dim and switch off at bedtime?
Yes. Create a sunset scene in the DayBetter app with steps that dim the lamp, and set the final step to switch it off.
Does Aura work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes. After setting up Aura in the DayBetter app, connect the compatible Alexa or Google Home integration to use voice control.
Does the Aura lamp include a power adaptor?
Aura includes a USB power cable. A certified 5V/2A USB power adaptor is not included and must be supplied separately.
Can Aura show warm white light as well as colours?
Yes. Aura offers adjustable white light from 2700K warm white to 6500K cool white, as well as colourful RGBIC lighting.
